Night of a Hundred Angels

"Flying or Falling,.. Heaven Knows" won the overall prize in the 'Night of a Hundred Angels' International juried award in Laguna Beach, California.

The logistics of getting the work from New Zealand to the USA within three weeks were considerable. Thanks to friends, family, Impressions Art Supplies in Richmond who crated the painting, and Nelson Importing who freighted it — it made it.

A second painting, "Anthem for Pfizer," also reached the finals but wasn't shipped due to freight costs. I was honoured to have two finalists selected. A share of profits from sales of artwork in the Night of a Hundred Angels exhibition goes to the Make a Wish Foundation.
